I am a licensed professional counselor, certified grief counselor specialist. I believe that “every step [is] an arrival” and that quote is reflective of our lives. Some of the steps of our lives include experiences that we would rather not have had. Counseling can be that next step that helps you to arrive at that desired place of wellness.
In my counseling, I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, person-centered, and interpersonal process therapy. I will work with you on identifying your desired outcome and help you process your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Depending on the situation or experience, counseling can help discern old patterns, explore feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and attitudes and provide opportunities for growth and change.
I work with people with a variety of issues, including but not limited to: grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anger, and self-esteem issues. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.
